S-200 Wireless Temperature, Humidity and Moisture Content (WME) Sensor with 64K Reading Datalogging Memory replaces S-2 and improves on S-2 with IP67 waterproof rating, addition of a push button to control sensor, options to use either built in terminals or cabled terminals for WME readings, and improved T/RH sensor with higher accuracy, faster response time and ability to read > 100% RH.

The S-200 is a wireless datalogging sensor capable of monitoring 2 channels of Temperature and RH and 2 channels of WME (replaces S-2).  Features include:

  • IP67 waterproof rating
  • Push button for initiating self test and erasing data storage memory
  • Improved T/RH sensor (A-100 cable required) with higher accuracy ΔRH = ±1.8 %RH, ΔT = ±0.2 °C, faster response time ability to read > 100% RH . Note, not currently compatible with A-1. 
  • Improved durability with heavy duty 304 stainless steel pads for monitoring WME
  • Improved battery retention designed to better survive high impact drops
  • The S-200 has 2 plug in 3.5mm TRRS jacks (these are the same type of jacks used for cell phone audio jacks) each of which accepts a A-100 HumiSense plug in T/RH probe.
  • A pin-type moisture meter WME probe connects through a 3.5mm TRRS jack (A-200) along with the built-in screw terminal pads. This allows both local readings at the sensor's pads or cabling to a remote WME monitoring location with easy replacement of the WME probe if it wears out from repetitive use.
  • The industry standard 3.5mm audio jack allows for use of low cost off the shelf TRRS extension cables for monitoring T/RH in remote locations
  • FLASH memory storage for up to 64K (65,535) readings where a single reading includes two temperature/humidity pairs and WME data.  Readings are stored if there is no gateway detected within wireless range.  If a gateway is present, the sensor uploads all readings stored in memory and continues to send regular readings to the gateway.  Readings are stored in FLASH memory and are kept even with the battery removed.
